MassAnder, SaintAngel and LilAngel have taken part in several gothrock projects since eighties, in Italy and elsewhere in Europe. In the years they changed name or elements, but they never changed themselves and their way to concept music. The dark and gloomy atmospheres of the end of the century have never died, indeed, they kept their restless darkness, enriching it with new sounds. Old and new, obscure melancholy and new moods that time creates, can be blended together in a style where goth remains the first and other sounds surround it in a frame of shadows. In march 20XIII, on the ashes of Italian goth bands, Into the Mist was born and the new CD "Into The Mist" is released in october 20XIII. Apparently depressive and shadowed, the work reveals a proud and solemn style, also fierce and powerful, at time. All the tracks describe the path from the deep emptiness to the intense glares of the Cross and Angels, passing through unknown dimensions infused with ethereal fog. Every song has its own style, unique and characteristic, reduced to a single creative vein that is deeply rooted in the musical culture of the 80s, however goes out in atmospheres and nuances always different. The same intimate prayer is softly whispered in the dark nights, as again it is raised to the sky like desperate chorus of a thousand lost souls.
The unstoppable race toward the truth and the light becomes the flight of a butterfly in a glass case with no way out. The deity is a mother or a lover, the end or hope, anyway desired, however invoked. Three dark figures walk in the distance, where the sun is pale and the woods have hands like claws. Massander, SaintAngel and Lilangel are the voice and the instruments of the suffering and the light. Rarely such an union can produce such this result. Listen for believing.

MassAnder, SaintAngel and LilAngel dagli anni 80 hanno preso parte a vari progetti goth-rock in Italia e altrove. Negli anni hanno cambiato nome o elementi, ma non hanno mai cambiato loro stessi e il modo di concepire la musica. Le atmosfere cupe di fine secolo non sono mai finite, anzi hanno mantenuto la loro inquieta oscurità che si è anche arricchita con nuove sonorità. Vecchio e nuovo, malinconia oscura e nuovi stati d’animo creati dal tempo si possono unire insieme e dar vita a uno stile in cui il gotico rimane il primo e le altre sonorità lo avvolgono in una cornice di ombre. ITM nasce nel marzo 2013, sulla cenere di gruppi gotici italiani e il CD ‘Into The Mist’ viene pubblicato nel ottobre 2013. Apparentemente depresso e ombroso il lavoro rivela uno stile fiero e solenne a tratti anche feroce e potente. Tutte le tracce descrivono il percorso dal vuoto profondo ai bagliori intensi della Croce e degli Angeli, passando attraverso dimensioni sconosciute intrise di nebbia. Ogni brano ha un suo stile unico e caratteristico, riconducibile ad un'unica vena creativa, radicata profondamente alla cultura musicale degli anni '80, che tuttavia si manifesta di con atmosfere e sfumature sempre diverse. La medesima più intima preghiera è bisbigliata sommessamente nella notte oscura, come un'altra volta è innalzata al cielo come coro disperato di mille anime perdute. La corsa inarrestabile verso la verità e la luce diventa il volo di una farfalla in una teca senza via d'uscita. La divinità è madre od amante, la fine o la speranza, comunque bramate, comunque invocate. Tre figure nere camminano da lontano, dove il sole impallidisce e il bosco ha le mani come artigli. MassAnder, SaintAngel and LilAngel sono la voce e gli strumenti della sofferenza e della luce. Raramente un’unione del genere produce un tale risultato. Ascoltare per credere. |
