| О себе: | Welcome to the page of band Nit We are a Serbian musical acoustic band that plays various types of music that covers multiple cultures of the world. (From India, Arabia, Russia, Kazahstan, Greece, Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, America, South America, Ireland, etc…) We play national, celtic, gipsy, ethnic, country and popular traditional world music. The band was formed on November 2010. and it’s original line - up featured Ivana (guitaris, violinist and vocalist), Nastja (guitarist, vocalist) and Tamara (percussionist, vocal). Tha band got it’s name by the initials of the band members (Nastja – Ivana – Tamara —-> NIT). The name also has another meaning: “thread”. At the beginning of 2011. The band reformed and now it consists of new members Aleksandar Labus (guitarist) and Ana Perisic (percussionist, vocalist). All of the band members have a musical education, and we are also a students of philology at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. On September of 2011, as a permanent member, one more thread joined the band, Marko Tešić, whose masterly violin playing significantly contributes to the fullness of sound. Marko has a secondary education for violin, plays in Academic Cultural and Artistic Society ''Ivo Lola Ribar'' Folk Orchestra, he won The Days of Carevac (Carevčevi dani) violin competition in 2011, and he is also a student of philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. The band carries a mellow and positive atmosphere while staying true to music that the band loves and not giving away to any commercial pressures. A demo release is in the making. |
