I am considerate, thoughtful, loving, sensitive, kind, a good listener, loyal friend and emotionally generous with a great sense of humor. I am the laid-back, good-guy, non-doormat type. Yet, I am the high energy, spontaneous, intuitive-impulsive who will attempt anything. I believe in myself, know who I am, have recovered from the hurts in my life and I am a happy, up-beat person who has no need for baggage.
My likes are typical -- I love children, dining out, movies, plays, big drolly dogs, horses, kittens, rock & roll, dancing, sailing, skiing, swimming, hiking, photography, motorcycles, good friends and eating off card tables at family gatherings. But I have a passion for flying, driving and skiing fast, being out in the ocean and in the wilderness, classical music, watching ballet and writing poetry. I can cook pretty well and set a mean table. Giving flowers turns me on, getting them I like even better. I enjoy the hard physical work required by my business; yet love the mental stimulation it provides. I love to restore old cars and I have several antique cars. The most successful accomplishment in my life was making it this far alive. My present goals are to finish building my house, work on my 33 Ford Street Rod, build my helicopter and develop my business but most important to find that “Special Woman” to be part of my life.
While I am comfortable in a tux, I feel the best in jeans and T-shirts. I love the cities but I am most comfortable here in the country. My time in the mountains and at sea clears my cobwebs. I crave thought, love conversation, praise creativity - - all types and admire people with artistic talents and varied abilities. My real net worth is in my feelings, friends, my insight and experiences.
My opinion regarding relationships is that they work when two people decide to make them work and avoid the laziness that makes relationships fail. Trust, Honesty, Respect and Communication, I feel, are the four most necessary ingredients required for a successful relationship. I believe in being supportive, yet desire neither to own nor be owned. I believe in the need for one's space for continued growth. I always want to remain vulnerable. I always want to care. I am a man who believes in morals and values. I believe that a great force created our universe. Whether you call that force God, Mohammad, Buda, etc. is up to each person.
