| О себе: | Erik was born in 1988, June 5, in the capital of Georgia - Tbilisi. He studied in the Russian Secondary school No. 79. Has graduated from the Music school No. 21 after G. Tsapadze, violin department. For the first time he played in public on the stage of the theatre after Griboyedov when he was 7 years old. And there he started his musical and creative way of a singer. At the age of eight he went in for ensemble of Armenian song and dance, where he appeared as a solo and had many concerts and tours as in Georgia, as well as in many European countries. He also went in for Georgian National Folk music ensemble. In 2001 for the first time Erik went to his historical motherland where he participated in “Krunk” (“Crane”) musical Festival and got a prize “Foreign Countries’ Best Performer”. After graduating from the school Erik has moved from Tbilisi to Yerevan and entered “Jazz-vocal” department of State Conservatory after Komitas. Since 2006 Erik started to work with a producer, composer Z. Petrosyan and in the same year participated in Contest-Festival “Yntsa” (“Donative”) in Artsakh and took the first place of honor. In 2006 at the musical award “Voske Knar” (“Golden Lyre”) he gained the prize “Year Revelation”. In 2007 Erik together with his producer Z. Petrosyan left for Bulgaria and took part in the International Music Festival “Discovery” and returned to Armenia with a victory. In 2007 at the musical festival “Voske Knar” (“Golden Lyre”) he won a prize “The Best Song” with his song “Du imn es” (“You’re mine”). In 2009 he released his first disc “Du imn es” (“You’re mine”). In 2010 took part in many TV projects. In 2010 at “Top 10” Annual musical award of the Public TV with music video “La-la-le” he gained the award “The Best Music Video”. In 2011 Erik presented Armenia in “New Wave” International pop Contest-Festival of young performers and gained the prize “Sympathy of Audience”. In 2011 at the National Music Award he gained the prize “The Best Singer of Year”. In 2011 at the award “Style Screen” he got the prize “The Stylish Singer of Year”. In 2011-2012 at the First musical TV channel Dar 21 (Century 21) musical award he again gained “The Best Singer of a Year” and the song “Anirakan” (“Unreal”) became “Hit of Year”.
