Interest of the Person, Social Group, the Nation (from a latin word interest - matters, it is important) - a key category of policy and the political science, designating motive power of history, an internal determinant of any policy. In history, in a society nothing is done without human interest: everything, that is made in a public life, both bad, and good - result of someone's interest, consequence of someone's benefit. Interests of separate people, persons, individuals, colliding and being repaid in mutual struggle, do not render essential influence on a course of events (if it is not outstanding persons in history which big influence is defined by other circumstances). Much more important for policy conterminous interests of greater groups of people defining it - classes, nationalities, the nations. But as interest of any such generality of people has no uniform SUBJECT, carrier of this interest, and represents the certain integration or connection of interests of individuals entering into a given generality, important to define this initial category - interest of the individual, the person and to define the nature of this interest. Contrary to attempts to give to interest of the individual, the person subjective character (treating it as certain by it selected aspiration, хотение) or объективносубъективный character (as supposedly in it is available also objective, not dependent on will of the person the maintenance, and the subjective moments connected with interpretation and stimulation of subjects, etc.). Actually interest of the individual and in general interest - an objective category though it is inseparable from the subject, its carrier (in this sense it субъектна, is inherent in the animated subject, but it is not subjective, what not the same!) . Under the maintenance interest does not depend on will and consciousness of the carrier though it is realized (truly or incorrectly) by the subject and at its will is realized or not realized by means of the certain actions. In what an essence of interests of the person, the individual? The person as a biological and social essence has set of the certain changing needs without which satisfaction it cannot exist and develop as the person. These or those subjects, things, attitudes are necessary for satisfaction of these needs with other people as means of satisfaction of those or other needs, on as interests of the given individual are directed. Interest is an objective attitude of this or that need of the individual to a subject of its satisfaction. The subject the individual having needs, is not free to cancel them, to exclude interest to subjects of satisfaction of the needs. My needs, the philosopher spoke, force me as the person, demanding the satisfaction, generating in me interest - this general рефлектированную outside need. However objective character of needs and interests does not mean, that the person безволен and is helpless before them. First of all, important correctly to understand, realize the valid interests and ways of their realization. And it is not always simple.
