| О себе: | Goa, a magical name for a rich land. In popular folklore it is said that the five senses are not enough to experience Goa in all its varied fullness. There is always a lively medley of surprising sensations that Goa keeps springing at you. A land of gentle hills and deep valleys. Of abundant greenery, flowers, fruits and fishes. A land of golden beaches with names as leisurely and mellifluous as Candolim, Calangute, Colva, Gasper Dias, Dona Paula and our own Ashvem. Rococco@Ashvem located in North Goa on a virgin strip overlooking the tranquil Arabian Sea, is a feast for the eyes and taste-buds. Ashvem is an easy drive from the Airport. The beach is a long sandy crescent around the sapphire-blue sea, almost like a picture postcard come to life. Milky surf foaming along golden sands, graceful palm-trees swaying in the breeze. Ashvem is home to the trendiest clubs, hippest shacks and a buzzing nightlife with a fair share of nature’s bounty of dolphins and turtles. Rococco’s cocktails are best enjoyed as you unwind with a barefoot massage, sitting on a lounge-chair in an exclusive sit-out while you down a pina colada. Take a short walk down the firm clear sands towards the sea. Plunge into the tingling water, swim out through the surging waves to the blue calm beyond and then return to lie back on the sands of Ashvem chatting to people of half a dozen nationalities who all flock to this most tranquil of beaches. You begin to realise that Ashvem is very real after all. Rococco’s cuisine is like the Goan sun. Full-bodied, zestful, abundant and quite inimitable. Rococco’s chefs offer a gourmet’s delight of succulent seafood cooked in a variety of ways. In a sense, Rococco at Ashvem is always a festival , whatever the time of the year. There is a lilt to the land and the people as they go about their day to day work that evokes a sense of carefree happiness. The sun is shining as always, and the fresh sea breeze is blowing. There is music playing and a sound of laughter lifting above the murmur of the surf. The feni is flowing free, the lobsters are sizzling, and the dancers stepping out in style and hands are clapping and eyes are flashing bright. It seems like a celebration, and it is.
