As the winner & runner-up of Iran Red Bull BC One Cypher 2010 & 2011, he is considered as one of the most talented b-boys in the country. Farzin has always wanted to pursue his one & only dream: Reaching the international top level. While 26, his dance style has always been pioneer & innovative with the aura of creating his own “Explosive” style while performing all arrays of tricks & basic foundations: a combo of well-figured toprocks and footwork combined with stylish power moves. Farzin is an energetic, friendly, down-to-earth, cool guy. Having danced from the time he was 14 or 15, describes the moment of realization to be a professional dancer was when he encountered Lilou in Red Bull BC One Cypher of Iran 2010. Farzin always narrates Lilou’s story of success winning Red Bull BC One championships while working, studying & dancing late at nights. 2010 was a turning point for Farzin who has the same life style of Lilou at that time. Though having lost his father at the age of 7 forced him to work in Bazaar for more than 4 years, he wanted to have a full dedication to dancing which he always refer to as an “art”. Farzin is from Tehran though his friends are not limited to just the capital of Iran. With breaking, he has made friends in every single city of Iran; the success he believes to be unreachable without breaking. With breaking, he gets himself out of the ordinary structures life bound him to. He believes that a dancer became free while dancing & shows his true character through his style & moves. Apart from being considered as a never-ending love, breaking is a sort of freedom for Farzin. As breaking has not been a public scene in Iran, Farzin’s main inspiration came from motion videos. He remembers very well the first day his brother’s closest friend played the movie “Breaking” in 1991 when he was only 7. He fell in love with the moves of dancers in the movie though in a society no one was aware of breaking, he could only perform some of the moves he saw in the gymnastic classes he used to attend. 7 years later, while watching Run-D.M.C video clip “It’s like that”, his love for breaking increased & led him to get along with the small community of other breaking lovers. They were among the first Iranian b-boys who danced just for fun whose only teacher were the short clips of breaking available on internet. It was not sooner than 2007 where he among other b-boys had an opportunity to show their talent to the crowd in Iran’s first local team battles. Farzin loves to be on stage. As he has a motto for himself which states “Enjoy dancing for the sake of dance; winning or losing comes in second hand”, he always tried to be a performer. He believes that Iran’s breaking scene is going to be booming in the next few years as the scene is still a child to be nurtured. Farzin tries to apply musicality, originality, style, perseverance & creativity in his dance & believes that all Iranian b-boys should stick to these rules in theirs.
