"THE BAND" is an armenian musical group which consists of 6 members. Lead Vocals - Karina Arustamyan Lead Vocals, Backup Vocals, Keyboard - Hovsep Yeremyan Solo Guitar - William Halajyan (2013-2014), Hamlet Shaghoyan (Solo Guitar ,Acoustic Guitar// From 2014 since now) Wind Instruments (Saxophone,Flute,Horn,Duduk,Pku,Zurna,Blul) - Vigen Balasanyan Bass - Hakob Torgomyan (2013 - 2015), Rob Margaryan (2015 - March 2016), Gagik Toroyan (April 2016 - since now) Drums - Hoso Yeganyan The group was founded in 2013 and they compose in pop,funk,soul,ethno-funk,soft rock,r&b and jazz genres. For about 2 years they had more than 400 live performances in different clubs in Yerevan, as well as in many regions of Armenia. From December of 2014 until June Of 2015 they were resident band at the Jazz Club Of Oryx Rotana Hotel Doha,Qatar. The cover songs that they made ,got the best placec in different musical compititions. At august of 2014 their cover of the song "Be My Boy"(Cat Power) took the 1st place at "Van Music Awards"(Armenian radio station "Radio Van fm .106)" Right now they released their 1st music video and working on their first album which will appear at the end of 2016.
