But above all, we learn how to apply the dance steps and figures at a social dance, and thus be able to enjoy it to the fullest! In the end we can enjoy a cup of coffee at Signature store&cafe together and continue dancing at afterparty. GHETTO ZOUK Dance refers to a dance style and dance concept developed as an inherent part of GHETTO ZOUK music originating from Cape Verde. The main base of Ghetto Zouk dance is Kizomba further developed by its Portuguese creator and educator with Cape Verdean roots Vitor Tavares Mendes and his team. GHETTO ZOUK Dance is a couple dance characterized by close frame, higher dynamics, fun, flow and precision that follows the ghetto zouk beat. Fun guaranteed to all who love couple dances, but also fans of R'n'B or hip hop. Level: This boot camp is suitable for dancers aged 18+ with at least the basic dance skills. It is open to all and encourages everyone to have a go. Whether you're new to the classes on offer or are an experienced dancer, you'll find an option to suit you. Workshop is in English language with translation into Czech or Portuguese as needed. It is held in a beautiful, spacious dance studio SECTOR which is part of a unique project VNITROBLOCK. Program: 8 x 60 min SATURDAY 22.4.2017 15:00 – 17:00h - we will start with basic steps and technique of a shared lead of both men and women (called 50/50 leading technique) and other main techniques 17:30 - 19:30h - after a short break we will continue with footwork and combinations that are natural and enjoyable to lead and follow at a dance party. Ghetto Zouk Dance vs Kizomba SESSION in Sector 19:30 – 21:00h - after our boot camp you can continue to dance and socialize at our session. It is open for everyone to exchange their dance knowledge and experience. Our instructors will be there to dance with you and to help with any questions you may have. - bar with alco and non alcoholic drinks and refresments is available at all times - everyone is welcome incl.those who didnt participate SUNDAY 23.4.2017 15:00 – 17:00h - after review of what we have already learnt on Saturday and adding a few more options to the combinations, we will focus more on development of the right technique of leading and following as well as working on the flow of the movement. 17:30 – 19:30h - the last part will be devoted completely to social dance: from the way of asking a lady to dance, through musicality to the application of the steps, figures and combinations we have learnt. The goal is not to get the step 100% correctly but to learn how to respect your partner and share the joy of dance at the same time. You will receive friendly feedback from your instructor throughout the workshops.
