Precision Fidelity

Precision Fidelity was originally founded in San Francisco, CA around 1973. Unfortunately, the information on the first steps of the company is hidden in the past. The very first proven checkpoint is 1977, the year when Precision Fidelity was bought by The Hill Group, a holding company from San Diego, CA. Noteworthy, that year was a real breakthrough: Gabriel Sakakeeny joined the company as Chief Designer and Vice-President of Operations. That was he, who created products defining company's reputation — C-7 preamplifier, M-7 power amplifier and JB-1 phono stage. Unfortunately, Gabriel didn't participate in the company's advance for a long time. In 1979 The Hill Group sold the company to Bruce Moore, Mark Kassab and Jack Senecal. This deal happened to be the beginning of the company's decline. Gabriel kept with Precision Fidelity for about a year, but the role of the senior designer was taken by Jack Senecal. Then he finally left the company, getting a steady job in National Controls. Striking shift in company's approach both to design and to the sound played its role as well. Although the company didn't exist for a long time and made it only to the end of 80's, audio enthusiasts and professionals still not only recognize the PF abbreviation, but also appreciate the equipment itself. Indeed, Precision Fidelity created excellent audio devices, drastically different from the mainstream flooding the audio market these years. But at some point the company ceased production and left business. Today we are reviving Precision Fidelity brand. None of us was a part of the original company, so we create our devices from scratch and strive for them to be truly unique. Though, at the same time, we continue to support the PF's idea and philosophy. We devote a lot of time and effort to give the world something beyond tons of devices at fantastic price. We sincerely believe that the audio equipment should be of high quality, reliable and affordable — mind it, all at the same time. The new age of Precision Fidelity has just begun. Company rebirth is not a marketing affair, it is our sincere desire to make high quality audio equipment, so our customer will not get disappointed, whether an esoteric audiophile or a professional sound engineer.
