Osiris Marshall

Exposed to a broad array of musical genres at an early age, Brooklyn native, Osiris Marshall, was raised on motown, classical, jazz and the blues. Starkly contrasted to his original influences, Osiris’ first musical endeavor was as a drummer in several deathcore, hardcore and heavy metal bands in New York. Later, with a change of taste, time and direction, Osiris moved to Southern California where he began to focus on hip-hop and rap and eventually started producing himself as an artist. Getting a comparative late start in the scene, Osiris religiously strives to distinguish himself from the crowd and has fought hard to hone signature fine-tuned flows and calculated lyricism that reflect measured thought and personal integrity. At the same time he regularly utilizes the anthemic energy of hip-hop and the breakdown-centric cadences of his musical roots to drive home diverse illustrations of life with its many complexities, flaws, and too-often overlooked blessings. With all of this, in harmony with boundary-pushing production, Osiris Marshall delivers musical viability wrapped in consciousness, candor, style and sincerity.
