Nick "Yngve" Samios

Born and raised in Athens, I started listening to metal in 1994 and one year later, I started playing the drums. Having as my greatest influence Metallica's Lars Ulrich, I tried to "create" my own style which throughout the years I kind of perfected it but always updating it as time passes. Since I started as a drummer, I played with noumerous bands, but my first recording came in 1998, when I recorded my first demo ever, with C.L.G, playing a hybrid of hard rock and heavy metal, or heavy rock if you prefer. Up to this day, I have been a part of more than 40 recordings, including demos, EPs and full length albums, plus many one-off live performances in Greece and abroad and 3 tours in Russia with Memorain (2014), UK with W.E.B. (2014) and Europe with Drauggard (2018). Founding member of Gungnir. Session musician and drummer at Drama Noir, Sirius, AfterBlood, Flames and Repentless (Slayer tribute band). Throughout the years, I have recorded drums for C.L.G., Illusions Of Dignity, Eternity, Obduktion, Άγγελοι Της Νύχτας (Angels Of The Night), Acherontas, Mortuus Sum, Odin's Court, Dizziness, Vomit Church, Empire Of The Moon, Memorain, Lykaionas, Caelestia, Hate Manifesto, Unholy Archangel, Christfuck, Chaosbaphomet, Fovitron, Shrine Of Orpheus, Nergal, Abvulabashy, Nekra, Archaeos, Μενεαπνέοντες (Meneapneontes), Deviser, Realm Of Void and Όχεντρα (Ohentra). Moreover, I played drums for Dimitris Liolios and Happy ΧΑΠΙ professionaly, during spring and fall of 2010.
