LEXICAL LAB is Hugh Dellar and Andrew Walkley, co-authors of the multi-level General English series OUTCOMES and INNOVATIONS, both published by National Geographic Learning, as well as the well-known methodology book TEACHING LEXICALLY. In addition, they have written one level of the high-school series PERSPECTIVES, two levels of the Pearson series ROADMAP and the polemical piece GRAMMAR NONSENSE . . . AND WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT. Based in north London, we have over fifty years’ experience in the ELT field between them and have been running our own company since 2014. We are the acknowledged leaders in promoting a lexical approach to language and language teaching. At LEXICAL LAB, we offer: • Weekly online language lessons aimed at advanced- and Proficiency-level groups. Most of our students are non-native speaker teachers of English, and each week, we write our own material, exploring a wide range of contemporary topics. Classes themselves are based around speaking, and the input comes from re-wording / reformulation of what students try to say.
