A newborn photo session can be very tender, emotional and exciting, but at the same time a doubtful moment for new parents. Many women start looking for a newborn photographer from the very beginning of their pregnancy. Some moms unfortunately end up changing their mind and canceling their baby's photoshoot due to lack of sleep, tiredness, or their fear of leaving the house with the new baby for the first time. Some parents feel more comfortable scheduling a photoshoot after their baby turns one month or even older, but the best time to do it is within the first two weeks of your baby's life. Capturing the innocence and purity of your newborn is the perfect start to a lifetime of treasured moments as your child grows and develops. I offer three options for a photo session location - you can come to my studio, I can come to your house or even to the hospital. If you shoose a studio photoshoot everything is going to be set up and ready for your arrival. The studio is comfortable, warm, clean and most importantly - light, which will allow us to get great photoes. I have plenty of outfits and accessories to choose from. If one outfit get dirty we can easily pick another one and use every basket I have. I can certainly come to your house, bring some outfits and accessories with me, but unfortunately it's impossible to bring everything. The main positive side of this option is that you don't have to leave the comfort of your home . The third option is the hospital. You are celebrating the birth of your baby, having guests, receiving gifts, and if you would like to schedule a photoshoot during this time I'd be happy to be a part of your celebration! In this case we just need to make sure that your baby is eating well, otherwise he/she won't cooperate and we're going to have to reschedule. While the baby is of couse going to be the star of our photo session it's also a great idea to take some pictures with parents and siblings. I find that family images are always full of love, connection and joy. The excitement you see in the face of the older sibling holding the little one for the first time, soft kiss on the temple and eyes full of love - what wonderful moments to capture! With this images you can create a beautiful album or a photo book that will be kept in your family for generations to come. Just imagine looking through the pages with your kids or even grandkids a long time from now, telling them stories, remeniscing about the past, laughing about moms dress or dads haircut. It's our responsibility as parents to capture these moments in time. Your children will not remember the first few years of their life but they will be so grateful to you for being able to see how tiny and cute they were when they were born, how they changed through the years and how much happiness they brought to their parents!
