Russia KDS What is KDS? Karate Do Shotokai is a martial arts discipline focussed on using the art of Karate as a means of self defence and physical well-being. We are not a competition based style. What does that mean? RKDS follows the teachings and guidance of Harada Sensei and his organisation, the KDS. Harada Sensei has been continuing the lineage of Karate since his instruction under the founders of the art in the early 20th century. This is not a sport, it's an art. Be competitive, but don't look for points and medals here. Sweat, blisters, bruised egos. That is what it takes to become a master of yourself. Then you can begin to learn Karate.
