This page is about Gabriel Bruce, the unique British artist, a child of West London, who was born 18 06 1989 at St Mary’s in Paddington and grew up under the Westway down by Latimer road. He has a bunch of talents - music, poetry, dance, drawing, dramatic arts. Gabriel Bruce comes from an old Scottish royal family the Bruces, he has also some Brazilian and Italian blood from the father's half of family, and the Scottish roots from the mothers side. The boy was distinguished by a very inquisitive mind and scientifically advanced since his childhood, he was growing surrounded by old books and the different attributes of the world religions and other artifacts, because Gabriel's grandfather was engaged in collecting and selling antiques and his mother still rents old Grandfather's shop where Bruce worked as seller of the rare books. Gabriel wrote his first songs when he was 4, he started playing music with his close friends from his 13 , simultaneously he was studing in the theater and art studios. Also he studied dance at A-Level and learned to do it very well. The first Bruce's band has name William Kay, the second, more seriously band Loverman, was founded in 2008, the guys released one single and mini-album on vinyl. Unfortunately the band disintegrated in 2010. Then Gabriel Bruce began his solo career as a composer, lyricist and singer with a very deep and low velvety voice. Bruce's first single, Sleep Paralysis was released in November 2011, together with the book about the phenomenon of sleep paralysis with Bruce's own drawings. Gabriel was performing on the stage very actively in the 2012-13 th years in the solo concerts and festivals, he released one EP and 3 singles, and his first full album, Love In Arms, was released in May 2013. The album was praised by critics, and seemingly, all said that the world fame and recognition will come to Bruce so soon... But the 2014 started with the problems in the relationship with his girlfriend, which lead to bad breakup and depression, that is unbearably hard .. no performances, no gigs .. and finally, in early November 2014, Gabriel got very severe injury to his right hand when he worked in a warehouse of the fossils and crystals owned by a friend of his mother. Thank God, the doctors miraculously saved his fingers, but the recovery was lasted more than six months. But the work with the new album was continuing with new enthusiasm and the first new single Metal Soul was released after almost 3 years of break, early in the 2016. And, yes, finally, the second full-length album named Come All Sufferers came in May, a remarkable record in that Bruce expressed his entire life experience of 3 years, all the pain, feelings, anger, hope, sadness and love to this dying world and its inhabitants. .. Gabriel was performing actively during whole 2016 and now he has decided to relax a bit and gain strength, he had been living in his mother's house on the Ibiza from Christmas 16 to the end of March 17 , and started writing material for the new, third album. Topics of his songs are always deep, how deep his voice, and always sincere, as his soul and open heart. Looking forward to the new creative material from him.
