Far Eastern Model UN 2021

Model United Nations of the Russian Far East (MUNRFE) jointly with the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) is delighted to announce to you one of the most fascinating events of the spring - Far Eastern Model UN 2021 (FEMUN 2021) which will be held in the hybrid format: at the FEFU Campus in Vladivostok (Russia) and online. Dates: May 14-17 FEMUN is: - the only platform in Russia where you can practice UN4MUN format developed by United Nations Department of Global Communication which is the most accurate simulation of the UN work; - diplomacy in action and consensus-building; - the only MUN Conference on the Russian Far East. - opportunity to perform as a real diplomat and to elaborate the most relevant solutions for issues of global concern; - acquaintance with the Russian traditions through the Cultural Program; - professional English-speaking environment; - advanced preparation provided by experts within the agenda items; - chance to receive the Diplomacy Award and participate in a MUN conference abroad with a team of winners. At FEMUN 2021, three UN Committees will be presented:: 1. Security Council (offline) Agenda item: Threats to International Peace and Security Caused by Terrorist Acts; 2. General Assembly Second Committee (offline) Agenda item: International Migration and Development 3. General Assembly Third Committee (online) Agenda item: The Right to Privacy in the Digital Age Official language of the Conference is English.
