Hill The never-ending addiction with trance music began when Elsa Hill set her hands on a pair of turntables. Trance music was unknown to her at that time, but she was immediately captivated as the music let her escape into another world. Six months after she was first introduced to the turntables, Elsa started recording her own vocals. Today, her lush voice is on many several successful releases that have landed on countless compilations. Many know her work from her 2006 releases, “No Need to Come Back” with Leon Bolier (Bo-leer) which landed on Armin van Buuren’s highly respected "A State of Trance" compilation, and “Close Your Eyes,” with Robert Nickson which received monumental support by Armin van Buuren and audiences everywhere. This year, Elsa has released three vocal tracks, teaming up with Carl B for “Underneath the Sky,” and a follow-up with Robert Nickson, “Never Again,” and her latest undertaking, a self produced track titled "Lost." “Lost,” is her first complete production where both vocals and production come alive resulting in a showcase of her undoubted talent. “Never Again” has been on the play lists of Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond, with “Lost” receiving massive support from Ferry Corsten, Agnelli and Nelson and Menno de Jong to name a few. “Lost,” has made appearances on Tiesto's Club Life and Markus Shultz's Global DJ Broadcast by various guest DJ's. Positive feedback from the trance community for “Lost” has prompted rave review from Daniel Kandi on trance.nu. These accomplishments have given Elsa the momentum to further explore her potential and step beyond the boundaries of what she has come to know of the trance domain. With an unyielding sense of meaning, it would only come natural for Elsa to share her own music with audiences on the dance floor. This obsession has presented numerous opportunities for her to DJ on DI.fm and in cities such as San Francisco, Houston, Los Angeles and Seattle; reaching as far as Costa Rica, Canada and Asia. While emerging as a promising DJ, as if by instinct, Elsa would realize she would want to set foot on stage as a performing vocalist. In 2007, Elsa found herself along side Robert Nickson in Los Angeles and later with Airbase in San Francisco giving spectacular vocal performances. Shortly after, Elsa began an unforgettable three-week tour through China. While in China, she exhibited outstanding skills at DJ’ing and singing live while visiting six cities throughout the nation. With memorable experiences behind her, Elsa is very enthusiastic about future performances to come. Though only in the industry for three years, Elsa is continuing to pursue her passion through her productions that feature her very own vocals as well as collaborations with producers from all over the world.
