Collectively producing since 1998, they’ve had releases on high profile labels such as Rob Playford’s Moving Shadow, The Panacea’s Position Chrome, Dylan’s Freak, Dieselboy’s Human, Excision’s Rottun and Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak. In 2005, Counterstrike started up their own label Algorythm, which was followed a few years later by Counterstrike Recordings, including releases from artists such as The Panacea, Limewax, Donny, SPL and Current Value. With roots firmly in South Africa, currently both members of the group are based in Europe, giving them perfect opportunity to collaborate with other pivotal bass music artists and be closer to the heart of this underground sound. Alongside their busy production schedule, they also manage to be a tremendous force of savagery on dance floors across the globe after almost fifteen years!
