Hello and welcome to And Then There Was You's profile for the MTVU Best Music On Campus contest. We hope you enjoy the sights and sounds we have up. Bio Forming in September 2005, and then there was you has already built up a strong fan base in the local Miami scene. Releasing a 3 song demo in March 2006, and then there was you has already grabbed the attention of local show-goers, bringing as many as 200 adoring fans to each show. With many past experiences in the local scene, Armando Soler, Alex De Renzis, Eddie Castineira, Bret Swensson, and Steve Vazquez each bring their own musical influences to the table. Having played in many known local acts such as Carter Beats the Devil, Thread of Hope, and the Surefire, each member comes from a different musical background, making their songwriting that much more unique. Each member is a seasoned performer, and past show experiences, with past and present bands, include playing the Ernie Ball and Hot Topic stages at Warped Tour 2005, as well as shows with many national acts such as Comeback Kid, Killswitch Engage, My Chemical Romance, Poison the Well, Unearth, and Chiodos. In the few months that the band has been together, and then there was you already got a spot on the Vans Warped Tour 2006, after being selected by Ernie Ball, as one of their battle of the bands finalist. You can also find the bands music on Pulse Extreme Sports Show, distributed by Warner Bros. Music. ATTWY had the privilage to share the stage with The Sounds, Halloween 2006. The show was hosted by Myspace Secret Shows, and was nothing less than amazing! and then there was you is not only extremely powerful in the studio, but their live act is even more captivating and keeps fans coming back to their shows over and over again. Show-goers awe at the perfection and intensity of Armandos live vocals, and the drive of Alexs drums keep the music very exciting. Bret and Eddies guitar harmonies support the vocals perfectly, and Steves roundhouse kicks keep every viewers eyes on the stage. After only a few shows, fans are already singing the lyrics. With a tour in the works and a 6 song e.p. to be released in the spring of '07, and then there was you has hopes in mind to spread their music across the country.
