ALEX MAZZAEV

I'm originally from a tiny town in a small country called Moldova. Started writing songs when I was about 10 yo. In the beginning all the songs where in Russian, I was writing about things I knew back then and about things I would like to discover. For a couple of years I was a lead voice in a hard rock band in Moscow, but after a while I realised that I needed to find my own way, though it seemed hard af back then. So I came back to my home country and after a few months I won a talent show there, released my first single and moved to Romania. There I was invited to participate in the XFactor and though I didn't know the language well enough I decided to give it a try. Came out second :) After the show I started writing songs in Romanian but my knowledge of the language still wasn't perfect... I guess every songwriter has some shitty songs in his portfolio :)) In 2016 I released my first solo album produced and recorded solely by me and to be honest, I like it, even though my accent is pretty thick in some songs. I've also learned a lot of things about mixing making it. Now I write and sing songs mostly in English, I want to share my experience and emotions, to put my life in music. Hopefully you'll like it.
