Alex Gerrard Curran

Alex Curran, born on September 23, 1982 in Aintree, Liverpool, an English model and fashion columnist for the Daily Mirror, is the wife of Liverpool and England footballer Steven Gerrard. Curran is described as a leading "WAG" (Wives And Girlfriends) of the England national football team, along with women such as Victoria Beckham, Coleen McLoughlin and Cheryl Cole. In 2007 the Times referred to her, then Steven Gerrard's fiancйe, as an "ьber-WAG". Curran writes a weekly column for the Daily Mirror, entitled "Go Shopping With Alex Curran". A former nail technician, Curran was raised in Maghull, and attended Maghull High School. Curran and Steven Gerrard have been a couple since 2002.
